SDI 2024 Screening

Summer Documentary Institute is a youth internship and workforce development program that provides East Side Union High School District students with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of documentary filmmaking while working together to tell local stories in San Jose. This video captures the final showcase of the program, a screening where students share their films with the community, participate in a Q+A session, and celebrate their accomplishment. This program is sponsored by the California Arts Council, The Davidson Family Foundation, the Bill Graham Memorial Foundation, and SVCreates in partnership with the County of Santa Clara.
