Salem Ajluni talks about his parents arriving as refugees to USA, their remembrances of Palestine. He also talks about the area where his parents lived when they became refugees. He spent time in Palestine in his 20s ,in the summer, with Palestinian youth organizers. He talks about the situation for Palestinians in the 1980s before the first Intifada, the Palestinians' attempts of shaking off the Israeli Occupation. He also explains how widespread the first Intifada was.
